It started with a paper piano. In a world of scarcity, a young artist drew keys on a desk and played silent melodies, striking his grandmother’s bowls with hazelnut sticks to find the rhythms in his head. This wasn't just childhood play; it was the first heartbeat of an obsession with resonance that would eventually define the soul of Kostava Creative. From the very beginning, an innate, childlike curiosity for art awakened in Zurab. He was constantly creating, driven by an instinct he didn't even fully understand at first.
While one brother was chasing echoes, the other was discovering a different kind of magic. After some time, Walking along the Batumi Boulevard, Joni spoke with contagious enthusiasm about the sheer power of code. To him, it wasn't just a technical language — it was the architecture of the future, a force capable of building entirely new worlds. He saw code as the ultimate creative engine, a vision of the tomorrow they would eventually build together.
The turning point came years later in a single moment of collision. Joni, the systems architect, heard the first notes of a virtual panduri prototype created by Zurab. For a non-musician, the raw, organic soul of that digital instrument was the revelation they needed. It was the perfect bridge between audio-visual artistry and the science of code, merging two separate paths into one unified mission.
Today, that synergy is the engine behind a growing multimedia ecosystem. What began as a project to digitize the unique DNA of Georgian instruments has evolved into a multi-disciplinary technology corporation. We are building the tools, environments, and instruments of tomorrow — from our flagship GSD project to advanced synthesizers and multimedia tools — engineered with the highest professional standard for the global creative industry.

Zurab is the audio-visual soul and creative director of Kostava Creative. From meticulous deep-sampling and microscopic sound design to ultra-realistic 3D UI/UX environments, he crafts cinematic experiences. He ensures that every product is a masterpiece that inspires the producer from the very first click.
Despite the clear division of roles, the workflow recognizes no rigid boundaries — Joni dives into aesthetic details, Zurab intervenes in DSP logic. It is this constant diffusion of disciplines that creates the balance you feel in every product.
A name that carries the weight of history
Most brands are built around a clever marketing strategy. We built ours around a profound sense of responsibility. When it came time to name this company, we didn't search for a catchy title — we accepted an inheritance.
Our surname is inevitably bound to the legacy of Merab Kostava. To the world, he is known as a monumental Georgian national hero — a man who endured unimaginable hardships for the freedom of his country without ever bending his spirit. But at his core, he was a creator: a poet, a musician, and an artist. His entire existence was defined by a single, unbreakable rule: absolute truth and zero compromise.
We carry that exact philosophy into the digital realm. Naming our ecosystem Kostava Creative is a constant reminder of the standard we must uphold. It dictates the flawless precision of our code, the depth of our sound design, and the aesthetic of every pixel we create. It means that cutting corners is never an option, and mediocrity is simply unacceptable.
